This course was created to make local detectives and patrol offices aware of the terrible toll Romance Scams take on our communities. Everyday citizens are being victimized at an alarming rate through sophisticated means online. This course will dissect a typical Romance Scam from inception through to payment to the scammers. We will take a deep dive into the networks and systems that make this crime possible in order to identify vulnerabilities in the chain to disrupt the activity.
