This course is designed for the first responder or detective to aid in the understanding of IP addresses and how they may tie into an investigation.  Attendees will learn what an IP address is and the various online IP address tools for determining the service provider, possible geolocation, and other valuable intelligence.  The training will include a case walk-through to show how IP addresses tie into a cyber-investigation, as well as hands on exercises such as reviewing sample electronic service provider records containing IP addresses.
