A two (2) day course designed for newer detectives and police officers who are assigned to conduct complex criminal investigations. The course will focus on various areas of criminal investigation, including crime scene processing techniques, collection methods for DNA and trave evidence, computer and cellular telephone analysis, narcotics and sexual assault investigations. The course will further introduce the attendees to the proper packaging, submission, and examination capabilites with regard to the New Jersey State Police Laboratory.
